This year's ICTFL 2020 Fall Conference comes to you in a virtual format. Join us LIVE on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and again on Saturday morning and afternoon for a variety of engaging sessions. Sessions will be recorded so conference attendees will have access to ALL sessions after the event until December 31, 2020, including those sessions you were unable to attend. As always, Conference Registrants can receive up to 11 PDs.
To show ICTFL's appreciation for all you are doing to adapt to this new "normal," we are offering "Hindsight is 20/20" for less than the cost of last year's conference and are giving you a one-year FREE membership when you register and pay the conference fee. (Already a paid member? No worries....we will credit you an additional year.)

No conference is complete without exhibitors so we have created a virtual exhibit hall. You will be able to browse their products and interact with them online. And, as in the past, they will be offering prize drawings throughout.

Don't miss out; register now!

Catey lives in the small, Central-Illinois town of Sullivan and teaches four levels of Spanish for Arthur Lovington Atwood Hammond High School.  She serves ICTFL as the Region 4 Director, 2019-2020 Conference Co-Chair, and LILL representative.  When she’s not chasing new projects for her career, she’s chasing her two Dachshunds, one Blue Heeler, five guinea pigs, brother with bipolar disorder, dad with dementia, man-child fiancé, or his man-sized child.  There’s never a dull moment, and planning ICTFL’s first virtual conference is no exception!
Sue taught French (and sometimes English) for many, many years at LaSalle-Peru Twp. HS and now is “busily” retired.  B.C. (before COVID) she traveled whenever and wherever she could.  Now, when not taking care of ICTFL tasks, she likes to read, to garden, and to plan and re-plan and re-re-plan house remodeling projects.  (The reading and gardening usually get done, but the remodeling ideas may go on forever!)  She and her husband have two children, one son-in-law, one almost-fiancée, four fur-babies, and six grand fur-babies.  Sue has been involved in ICTFL since its founding and has served in numerous positions over the years. it.
Ellen teaches Spanish at Mahomet-Seymour High School just outside of Champaign-Urbana. She serves as ICTFL 1st Vice President and is on the Technology Committee. When not in the classroom or on Zoom calls with ICTFL, she enjoys hiking with her husband and travelling, which she sadly cannot do at the moment! Although a recent empty-nester, Ellen is still parenting her 3 crazy dogs! Ellen looks forward to guiding ICTFL into 2021 when she takes over her presidency.
Todd currently serves as Director of World Language for Niles Township High School District 219 in Skokie in a department of 31 language teachers.  As Professional Learning Chair for ICTFL, he has helped organize a variety of activities over the last year although he has served ICTFL in many roles over the years.  As Program Chair for CSCTFL in Minneapolis in March 2020, he coordinated the last significant in-person language learning conference as the pandemic hit.  Todd enjoys music, movies, reading, and dreaming of the post-pandemic future with his husband in Evanston.

Linda is the Executive Director for the Global Seal of Biliteracy, a program that provides bilingual certification to learners of all ages in over 100 languages. She is a Joint National Council on Languages Board Member (JNCL-NCLIS) and America’s Languages Fellow. Linda, who is Nationally Board Certified, taught both high school and college Spanish, was a 2013 Golden Apple Awardee and the 2014 ACTFL National Teacher of the Year. An international advocate for languages and a cheerleader for language learners, she is a frequent keynote speaker and World Language consultant. When not working, you’ll find her traveling, gardening, cooking or enjoying her eight grandchildren.
Carrie has been teaching all levels of Spanish since 1994. A National Board certified teacher, Carrie serves as a mentor to National Board candidates and presents at various local, state, regional, and national language conferences. Her passion is helping teachers enhance cultural knowledge in the world language classroom using CI-based strategies and backward planning.  Carrie is the 2012 recipient of the Horace Mann “Innovative Education Award,” the 2014 Teacher of Year for both the state of Illinois and the Central States Region, and a finalist for the 2015 National Teacher of the Year. In addition to Carrie’s achievements as a teacher and trainer, she is also an accomplished author, writing teacher’s guides, ancillary materials, and novels.
Emily teaches Spanish at Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, IL. She serves as part of the tech committee, and is committed to making sure the technology functions as smooth as possible! When she’s not teaching, you can catch her watching the Taco Chronicles on Netflix. (Yes, she loves tacos THAT much!)
Erinn teaches Spanish at Daniel Wright Junior High School in Lincolnshire, IL. She is the curriculum co-chair for Social Emotional Learning, the adviser of the student leadership club and the founder of the diversity book club there. Erinn enjoys traveling, reading, gardening and all things ‘90s pop culture.
