ICTFL Membership Benefits:

  • SUBSTANTIAL DISCOUNTS on registration for the Fall Conference, WinterFest, and other programs throughout the year.
  • SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS - members are eligible to receive scholarships for professional development and recognition of accomplishments.
  • SUBSCRIPTION TO ACCENTS / E-BLASTS - to stay informed on foreign languages education, Illinois issues and Illinois language personalitites.
  • VOTING PRIVILEGES in the election of officers and at the business meetings where major policies and programs are adopted.
  • STATEWIDE SERVICES AND REPRESENTATION through the Regional Board Members and Committees of ICTFL.
  • OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE THE PROFESSION by presenting at conferences, working on committees, running for election, and participating in other leadership and service activities.
  • SUPPORT FOR LANGUAGE TEACHING through ICTFL's affiliation with ACTFL, Central States and other organizations.

 

ICTFL Membership Categories:  Membership year is July 1 through June 30

  • REGULAR MEMBER:  For teachers, administrators, and all others in foreign languages and international studies.
  • SUSTAINING MEMBER:  For members who wish to provide a higher level of support.  Includes all rights of regular membership plus recognition as a Sustaining Member in the next conference program.
  • CONTRIBUTING MEMBER:  For members who wish to provide a level of support.  Includes all rights of regular membership plus recognition as a Contributing Member in the next conference program.
  • STUDENT MEMBER:  Full-time students only (Send copy of ID / have ID ready at ICTFL events to receive student rates).
  • RETIRED MEMBER:  Available only to retired teachers.

ICTFL uses email for website login recovery and for e-blasts.  Please record which email you have used and advise ICTFL of email changes.
