The Global Seal of Biliteracy offers three levels of language credentials in 130+ languages at Functional Fluency (Intermediate-Mid), Working Fluency (Advanced-Low) and Professional Fluency (Advanced-High). Level is validated through testing.
The Global Seal of Biliteracy is a FREE language credentialing program (cost of testing not included) is open to all ages and available anywhere in the world.
The Global Seal of Biliteracy provides a serial-numbered language credential purposeful for academic and employment purposes and can be entered on a C.V. or LinkedIn profile under "Skills and Certifications."
The Global Seal of Biliteracy provides an alternate avenue to certify language skills for language learners who are not eligible to participate in the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy program, such as those in universities, community colleges, private schools, home schools, community-based heritage language programs and adults.
The Global Seal can also be used to complement the State Seal of Biliteracy in vertical articulation as PATHWAY AWARDS. (Examples: Heritage speakers and Dual Language Immersion Programs may qualify for the Global Seal Functional Fluency Level at 8th grade OR outstanding students may qualify above the State Seal for the Global Seal Working Fluency Level certificate.
