The ICTFL Award for New Teachers of World Language
(formerly the Montserrat Vilarrubla Award 1995-2014)
The ICTFL Award for New Teachers of World Language recognizes individuals who have recently entered the world language teaching profession and who show outstanding promise of becoming professionally active ICTFL members, as well as capable teachers of world languages, including English as a second language. As of 2015, this henceforth replaces the Montserrat Vilarrubla Award which was created in 1995.
Up to two Awards annually will be presented at the ICTFL Fall Conference. Winners will receive complimentary registration for all ICTFL conferences and one-day workshops for the following year, as well as a year’s free membership. In years when gifts to the award are sufficient, a scholarship, teaching materials, or a cash prize may also be made available.

Only complete applications will be considered. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY SEPTEMBER 20.
A jury of ICTFL officers and other members will score the nominations. This process will be supervised by the ICTFL Awards Committee. The determination of the jury shall be final.
